Directed and DP’d by Graham Skinner for Dean Yamada’s Intermediate Directing class at Biola University, Spring 2021
One late night in February 2021, my stunningly talented cinematographer roommate wandered into the study and asked if I wanted to help pull a simple shoot together that weekend for his directing class. 3 days later we had an Arri Alexa Classic, a small crew, and two great actors at our house. It was one of the smoothest projects I’ve been on in a while and, for a low-pressure visual exercise, I’m pretty proud of what the team pulled off. Graham is one of the best DP’s at Biola right now and it was so rewarding to help create a space for him to explore visual ideas.
